Bandar Imam Petchem Plant Ready for Export of LPG by Land

TEHRAN (NIPNA) -- The commercial director of Bandar Imam Petrochemical Co. (BIPC) said the company has offered liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) at Iran’s energy exchange (IRENEX), voicing the company’s readiness to export LPG to eastern neighbors of the country.

Speaking to NIPNA, Mohsen Maleki said the company offered its LPG on the international floor of the IRENEX on Tuesday. 
He said arrangements have been made for export of the item to Iran’s eastern countries, adding the company is prepared for continued export of the item in the future. 
In its first offering, BIPC priced the item at $590 per ton for December 15 delivery and payment in cash. 
The company has more than doubled its export of gas condensate and has brought it to 300,000 tons valued at $270m in the first half of the current Iranian calendar year which began on March 20. 
Bandar Imam Petrochemical Complex supplies a variety of petrochemicals including pentane plus, butane, propane, propylene, different kinds of xylenes, reformate, ethylene, benzene and heavy and light density polyethylene. 
Most of the export cargoes were destined to the UK, France, Italy, Armenia, Saudi Arabia, the Netherlands, Belgium, Singapore, India, Spain, Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Qatar, Japan, China, South Korea, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Turkey, Pakistan and Azerbaijan.
