Iran's National Petrochemical Company (NPC), the Petrochemical Commercial Company (PCC) and the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (PGPIC), together with a number of other petrochemical companies are representing Iran in a pavilion at the K 2016 (Oct 19-26).
The companies will also hold serious talks with internationally renowned petrochemical companies active in plastics and rubber industries for enhanced relations and technology transfer to Iran now that the positioning itself as a leading power in the Middle East's petrochemical industry in the wake of removed US-led sanctions on Tehran's nuclear agenda following a landmark deal the country struck with the P5+1 group of countries, also known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
Iranian officials and exhibitors will also hold talks with leading petrochemical companies during the fair as well.
The K 2016 presents the industry’s innovations and new launches. On its ninth edition, under the motto of ‘Plastics shape the future’, the focus will be on the functionality, aesthetics and sustainability of plastics.
